I've been quiet and lurking, but wanted to share with you why I love PixelSwagger. First, it's a community. I always feel welcome and have fun when I stop lurking and make it to events. I'm so grateful for this group because it was started with the intention of bringing people together. I'm lucky to be a part of this group, and some amazing others. What is your fave community?
Second, it's the creativity. From Abby's builds, the live performers, the amazing DJs, the fantastic events, the thoughtfulness that goes into the planning. It's more than that, though, it's also the support that this group gives to those who get involved. Promoting each other, supporting each other. I feel like they want to see their friends succeed in their endeavors and I love that so much.
I love many things about PixelSwagger and you can find my fave links at the bottom of this post, including a link to the group's discord. That's probably the easiest way to keep up with what is going on. You can also share your wins in this group, and find out where people are. The other thing I love is that this group gives me an opportunity to express myself through being a blogger.
Those of you who follow me on Flickr probably know that nature photography is my passion, and where I feel most comfortable, but I've been practicing taking portraits and fashion blog pics for PixelSwagger. These two pics were taken a couple days apart, but with the same skin, shape, and makeup. It's always amazing to me how a few tweaks can completely change a look, and how I don't have to compare myself to others, because growing in my photography and fashion blogging is a process.
